Is Normnot Academy a nonprofit organization?
​
Yes. We are recognized as a 501c(3) nonprofit organization and all cash donations and in-kind gifts are eligible for tax deduction.
Is Normnot Academy a religious organization?
​
No, however, we are a faith-based organization with Christian values and beliefs. We do not teach theology or religion and do not require that a student come from a Christian background to participate in our programs. Normnot Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor.
What is the fee or cost to enroll a student?

This is a free program for students 12 years to 19 years old that attend sessions at Normnot Academy.
Where is Normnot Academy located?
​
We are located at 4809 West Waco Drive, Waco Texas 76710.
When are classes/sessions/workshops held?
​
Classes are held once a week every Tuesday, 6 – 7:30 pm and may include a few Saturdays. Dates and times are subject to change.
What is the criteria for my child to attend?
​
All youth must be at least 12 years old but no older than 19 years old. Some restrictions may apply for students with a criminal history or who are not enrolled in school. All enrollment acceptance into the program is subject to the discretion of Normnot Academy.
On average, how many students enroll into the program each semester?
On average there are up to 10 students, but no more than 25 students enrolled into each program.
How do you communicate with students?

We use an app called Remind to communicate with students. This app is well known and widely used at schools to communicate to with students. Its sends emails without disclosing phone numbers and all communication is recorded and can’t be deleted. To find out more about the app go to: https://www.remind.com/
Are volunteers and staff required to have a background check?
​
Yes. All volunteers, staff and third party affiliates such as speakers, are required to complete a background check. All background checks are screened for acceptance before joining our team.
Do you share personal information about the youth in your program?
​
No. We do not share personal information about our participants without consent from parents or expressed consent from any youth over the age of 18.
